So, what does it take to get a massive Christmas tree to the nation’s capital?
Kenworth released a video today depicting a drone’s eye view of the tall cranes and specially decaled Kenworth T680 used to get the massive 80-foot Englemann Spruce from Idaho to Washington, D.C.
The U.S. Forest Service harvested the tree. Towards the end of the video, it’s amazing to watch the truck transporting this huge, full tree down the road. It’s certainly not something you see every day.
Gary Amoth, owner of Twin Falls, Idaho-based Gary Amoth Trucking, drove the T680. He’s interviewed in the clip along with others who played a part in getting the nation’s Christmas tree.
