US Cargo Control has recently added bulk chain to its selection of merchandise, including the most common chain grades in the industry (30, 43, 70, and 80) and newer, high performance grades of 100 and 120.
Each chain grade is available in custom lengths by the foot, half drum, or full drum. All of the chain products are made in the USA and meet or exceed all NACM & ASTM standards, and manufacturing is approved by ISO 9001-2000, the company says.
“Researching the different grade levels of chain during our lifting slings expansion made it clear that we needed to be offering customers more bulk chain options,” says Category Manager Matt Mitchell. “While grade 80 chain and grade 100 have been traditionally popular in the overhead lifting industries, we learned that many customers in the transportation industry were upgrading their grade 70 tie down chains to the stronger grade 80 chain and grade 100 chain.”
The new chain product offerings coincide with the recent addition of more than 400 chain lifting slings that were also recently added to the company’s website.
Because of the range of grade options and lengths, customers are asked to call the company directly to order bulk chain. However, Mitchell says plans are in the works to add online ordering options, as well as additional products: “Our plan is to continue to build out the chain category to also include a full selection of high quality end fittings and chain accessories, and have it all available for online purchasing.”
