Roll-N-Lock has launched its E-Series electric retractable truck bed cover.
Based on Roll-N-Lock’s popular A-Series manual retractable bed cover, the E-Series includes a wireless key fob that allows the cover to be opened or closed remotely (see video below).
Seth Shockley, sales manager at Lund International, parent company of Roll-N-Lock, explained that besides offering greater convenience, the E-Series offers top notch theft deterrence.
“It has all-aluminum slats. You can’t get in there with a box-cutter. It’s the most secure cover on the market,” Shockley said.
Making the cover even more secure is a patent-pending theft resistant hinge, which covers the seams from exposure to would-be thieves.
During operation, the cover can be stopped along any part of the track, allowing for full or partial access to the bed.
A powder-coated aluminum cover body is designed for lifetime protection against the elements. A patented no-drill clamp-on track design simplifies the install process.
An emergency release cable allows the cover to be opened manually and a pressure-sensitive motor will automatically stop and reverse upon contact with any object in the bed.
