Reading’s new Redi-Gate for its Classic II service body offers over a cubic foot of storage inside the tailgate.Reading Truck Body recently unveiled a new storage solution which offers more than a cubic-foot of space inside of its service body tailgate.
The patent-pending Redi-Gate, available in heavy-duty aluminum, features a hinged, sealed lid, that once lifted, offers an impressive storage area inside the tailgate that measures 44 inches wide x 11 inches tall x 4 inches deep.
“After much time researching, designing and engineering the Redi-Gate, Reading is excited to showcase its superior capabilities—a quality design, versatility for all vocational markets and enhanced organization for its users,” says Craig Bonham, Reading Truck Body’s vice-president of sales and business development.
“The industry has yet to see a product like the Redi-Gate hit the market that offers such a strong operational ROI for customers, and with the strong Reading brand behind it, we are looking forward to its official debut.”
Redi-Gate, developed for Reading’s Classic II service body, made its debut at the Work Truck Show last week in Indianapolis. It’s available in the standard EX (extra space) model or the advanced EXP (extra space plus power) model which includes four integrated weather-resistant power outlets on a rear mounting bracket.
When open, the Redi-Gate lays flush with the cargo space and is designed to offer snag-free loading.
