UWS announced the launch of new combo transfer tanks constructed of steel and weight-saving aluminum.
Both the steel tank and built-in aluminum combo tool box, an industry first according to UWS, feature a smooth, mill finish and are available in L-shaped and rectangle configurations in either black or white powder coat finishes.
The tank, which is built from 14-gauge steel, allows for the transfer of non-flammable fluids to on-site vehicles and equipment. The built-in tool box is made of .08-inch thick aluminum which weighs up to 100 pounds less than comparable steel models.
While other transfer tanks typically come with a diamond plate finish, UWS steel-aluminum combo feature a distinct smooth, mill finish.
UWS’ new L-shaped and rectangle steel transfer tanks are made in the USA and are fully pressure-tested for safety. They come with a lockable commercial-grade cap, built-in drain plug and internal baffles for smooth flow of liquids. All steel transfer tanks also come with welded lifting hooks, making it easier to relocate the tank in and out of the truck bed.
