Work truck owners with 3/4-, 1-ton, and larger pickups and cab chassis models that need a strong electric winch need to check out Smittybilt’s new Gen2 XRC models.

Smittybilt winch SB_98512The Gen2 XRC winches have been updated with a new 6.6HP motor that work in conjunction with a three stage planetary gear drive that offers fast line speed and quiet operation.

Power to the motor comes from a redesigned solenoid box that features three different mounting options to maximize cooling to your engine and make it easy to plug in the new rugged remote control.

Smittybilt XRC Gen2 winches are finished in a rugged UV resistant matte black textured finish with stainless steel hardware and oversized aluminum cross bars for strength and dependability that will last for years.

Four different sizes mean Smittybilt has an XRC winch for any vehicle: The XRC9.5 is perfect for Jeeps and mini trucks, the XRC12 is designed for fullsize trucks, and the big bad XRC15.5 and XRC17.5 can pull even the biggest, heaviest one ton trucks.

All of the winches come standard with durable steel cable and roller fairleads, but the XRC9.5 and XRC12 are also available in the COMP Series with lightweight synthetic winch line and aluminum hawse fairleads that improve approach angle and shed weight.
