PIAA SAE/DOT-Compliant LED Driving Lights
Auxiliary lighting is an important upgrade for many hard working trucks, starting with driving lights.
That’s where two new round LED driving lights from PIAA Corporation USA come into play.
The new LP550 and LP560, nominally five or six inches in diameter respectively, use a pair of big 7-watt LED bulbs that offer better illumination, less amp draw, and greater durability than traditional halogen bulbs.
These new lamps are very cost-effective. In fact, they are covered by PIAA’s exclusive limited lifetime warranty, which reflects the company’s confidence in the durability of their lighting products.
PIAA’s exclusive Reflector Facing Technology (RFT) uses LED rearward-facing bulbs to concentrates and focus the beam pattern more precisely than other lamp designs.
This design provides greater light output per watt plus less power consumption than traditional halogen and forward-facing LED lamps.
The LP550/LP560, which are sold in pairs with wiring kits, feature a rugged design with a cast aluminum housing, high strength polycarbonate lens and protective grill.
Both offer a 30-degree driving beam, and produce a very crisp white beam of light with a color temperature of 6000 kelvin.
