Larry Coon Receives Super Crew Keys 
This Ohio excavation and concrete contractor might not be jumping up and down for joy, but inside Larry Coon is one very happy contractor.
He and Carol, his lovely bride of 47 years, were presented the keys to ProPickup’s Project Super Crew at Town & Country Ford in Bessemer, AL, after winning the magazine’s year-long sweepstakes.
Stephen Abernathy (at right in photo), gave the winner the keys to the 2011 F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab 4Ă—4 earlier today.
Coon also received a custom plaque commemorating winning the truck valued at more than $80,000.
“I wouldn’t have entered if this had been anything but a Ford,” quipped the 71-year-old owner of Coon’s Excavating & Masonry in Norwalk, Ohio.
“I’ve been driving Fords since 1955 and my latest is a 2002 F-350 with the V10. It’s been a great work truck.
I thought the Super Crew would be its replacement. But after seeing this in person, this one is really special. I don’t think it’s going to see much Ohio dirt or mud for a while.”
