Meritor launched its air spring lineup at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Las Vegas Tuesday,
Krishna Natarajan, senior director of steering, suspension and drivetrain for Meritor, says the company’s air springs are built to Meritor quality and reliability specifications and at a competitive price point.
“The springs are made with robust and exceptional corrosion-resistant components to significantly reduce downtime and maintenance costs,” he adds.
Meritor says its air springs are engineered to accommodate higher load-carrying capacities, deliver improved road handling and offer more protection to cargo from shocks and vibrations which translates to a more cushioned, smoother ride for drivers.
The new portfolio includes triple and double convoluted, reversible (rolling lobe) and cab-mount air springs covering 85 percent of the applications and each come with a one-year, 100,000-mile warranty.
