Poindexter acquires Reading Truck Body

J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. (JBPCO), a leading manufacturer in the vocational truck industry, announced Monday its acquisition of Reading Truck Body.

Reading Truck Body includes Reading Truck Body, LLC, which has a manufacturing plant in Reading, Penn., as well as five company-owned installation facilities operating as Reading Equipment & Distribution, LLC. It will operate as an independent business unit within JBPCO, led by current CEO Brian Nadel and his management team.

John Poindexter, CEO and founder of JBPCO, says the acquisition is a natural fit.
