Newmar Corporation has recognized Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) with its Virgil Miller Award of Excellence, the highest honor it bestows on vendors each year.
FCCC took top honors among a group of select vendors at the event that were being recognized for outstanding performance in supplying the luxury RV manufacturer with quality components and materials.
“We measure our own success in large part by the success of our customers and build partners – that’s where our focus always is, and that’s what we mean when we say we’re driven by you,” says Bob Harbin, president of FCCC.
The award was determined and distributed based on internal surveys measuring each suppliers’ level of quality and service while interacting with Newmar’s purchasing, manufacturing and engineering departments. The Virgil Miller Award of Excellence was established in the memory of Virgil D. Miller, former president of Newmar Corporation and the first president and chairman of the Board of the RV Safety Education Foundation (RVSEF).
