Link Manufacturing, Ltd. was recognized by Spartan Motors, Inc. during their 11th Annual Supplier Conference in Charlotte, Michigan.
Link received the Mechanical Engineering Outstanding Supplier Support Award for partnering in the development of a new Link UltraRide Chassis Air Suspension for a Spartan Chassis Low-Floor Kneeling Bus.
A chassis equipped with Link’s Front and Rear UltraRide air-ride suspension, addresses one of the challenges of public transportation, maneuvering wheelchairs on to busses. Vehicles equipped with this four corner UltraRide system enable the bus to kneel to load wheelchairs – thereby eliminating the need for steps and traditional wheelchair lifts.
