Industry experts say there are ways drivers can improve their own fuel economy by making some very minor changes.

You can also save by slowing down. Gas mileage usually decreases rapidly at speeds above 60 mph, making every 5 mph over 60 mph like adding an additional 24 cents per gallon for gas.
