Sortimo by Knapheide used this week’s Work Truck Show to announce the release of their newest van equipment storage solution, Exxpand.
Designed for today’s mobile technicians, Exxpand’s flexibility in configuration makes it easy for customers to organize their vans and optimize their operations, the company said.

Shelf Staxx are lightweight, durable shelving units that allow for flexibility in both configuration and layout. Shelf Staxx have pultruded composite end panels that are lightweight, but still maintain an excellent strength to weight ratio: weight capacity is 180 pounds per shelf, and they can be stacked three high. Their appearance is designed to complement both the current and newest generation of commercial vans.
BOXXes help organize work equipment and transport it to the worksite in the most efficient way possible. As the core of the Exxpand system, all BOXXes are interchangeable and securely lock into Shelf Staxx for safe transport. A variety of BOXXes configurations are available to the range of storage needs.
Axxessories allow storage space customization and create a personalized work environment that generates more productivity. Axxessories have a vocational focus and each one has a specific function making storage solutions easy.
Protexx Partitions offer an extra level of safety and security in the event of an unplanned stop. They also divide the van into two separate zones: the passenger area, which doubles as a mobile office, and the cargo area for storing parts and tools.
Roof Raxx securely store ladders, conduit, and other long materials on the roof of the van. Constructed of primarily aluminum extrusions, Roof Raxx are both lightweight and flexible in design. A range of offerings are available depending on vehicle and storage needs.
