Prefix Corporation is taking its custom conversion Minotaur Ram 1500 pick-up truck to the America Adventure Rally.
Available through select “Prefix Performance” FCA dealerships across the country this month, Minotaur was engineered from a Baja racing heritage.
This year’s America Adventure Rally consists of nearly 30 teams making their way over 2,000 miles during seven days from South Dakota to Las Vegas. The teams need to solve difficult challenges (some physical, some mental) in order to find their next destination. At each location, teams compete in a variety of performance driving events that take place off-road and at professional race tracks along the route.
This highly engineered system improves the overall vehicle stance for greater handling and stability at high speeds. The 4 inch of lift gives the 35 inch all-terrain General Grabber tires ample clearance and provides a remarkable approach angle of 41 degrees, and departure angle of 30 degrees.
The aluminum skid-plate with red tow hooks completes the vehicle’s aggressive appearance. Additional features include custom Minotaur badging, embroidered floor mats, and integrated fog lights. Buyers have the option of adding a Viper inspired side exhaust and/or a cold air intake system that adds horsepower and enhances the aggressive exhaust note, 20 inch black and gray KMC XD Series wheels, and a variety of painted body parts to match the color of the truck.
