aFe’s Cat-Back Exhaust System Keeps Exhaust Gas Flowing Smoothly
The cat-back exhaust system for the 2014 GM Silverado and Sierra is constructed using a 3″ mandrel bent, 409 stainless steel and uses a free-flowing muffler, OE-style bayonet hangers and band clamps to provide a stable pipe location during high vibration and heat conditions.
The smooth curves and increased diameter helps remove performance restrictions and keeps exhaust gas flowing smoothly for increased horsepower and torque. The system is finished with a black, powder-coated 304 stainless steel, rolled slash-cut tip.
The exhaust system uses all factory mounting locations for easy installation, and the OE-style flange and band clamps are used for a 360-degree sealing surface, eliminating leak paths.
