When James Swafford Landscaping’s crew rolls up to a jobsite, they do it in style in a tricked-out 2011 F-450 Crew Cab 4×4. It sports a Ranch Hand grille guard up front and CM custom bed with gooseneck and four built-in UWS toolboxes at the rear. It also carries a 100-gal. fuel tank with powder-coated fuel cell, an air compressor and a raft of LED work lights. It rides on factory tires and aluminum wheels with towing muscle via the 6.7L Powerstroke.

It’s hard to miss Eric Dupee’s office. His black-on-black 2008 Ford F-350 FX4 Crew Cab sports construction-grade yellow reflective lettering for REMU, the Finish company he reps. The 20” Moto Metal wheels with 35” Toyo Open Country A/T tires are a giveaway; it’s not just a pavement pounder. “This truck is my sales office. I use it to drive from Maine all over the East Coast and Midwest going in and out of different types of construction sites, such as gas and oil pipelines, for REMU.”
