ProPickup Magazine’s “Surveyor 1” Sweepstakes Truck Debuts At NTPA Super Nationals
Attendees who stop by the Mobil Delvac display area at the Budweiser Dairyland Super Nationals in Tomah, Wis., June 20-23, will get to see ProPickup magazine’s 2013/14 sweepstakes truck–Surveyor 1.
The 2013 Ram 2500HD Crew Cab 4×4, sponsored by Mobil Delvac and Ram Commercial Trucks, is a “work-in-progress” according to the magazine’s editor and overseer of the project, Bruce Smith.
“This is just the first stage of the project truck build,” says Smith. “Surveyor 1 will be upfitted and accessorized with more products during the next few months. Right now it’s about 75 percent completed.”
Surveyor 1 is being built to be the ultimate professional surveyor’s work truck, complete with suspension, engine, interior and exterior upgrades that make life in the field easier and more efficient. The four-wheel-drive Crew Cab is powered by the new 370hp high-output Cummins 6.7L diesel.
The Tomah event, which is sanctioned by the National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) and is one of the most prestigious tractor pulls in the U.S., is one of more than a half-dozen shows Surveyor 1 will be on display at this year.
