This new system provides a dyno-proven 17 additional horsepower and 16 lb-ft of torque, and it can be installed in under an hour!
The key to making more power is supplying the engine with a cold, clean, and free-flowing source of air. AIRAID’s system includes Direct Fit panels that clip into the bottom portion of the factory airbox for easy installation. Blade-style weather-stripping allows the air box to be sealed against the hood, which separates the intake from hot engine compartment air. Also included is a new roto-molded intake tube that further increase air flow to the engine. Everything mounts to the factory attachment points for ease of installation using the supplied 100% stainless steel hose clamps and related hardware.
The real heart of this system, however, is the air filter. AIRAID’s new F-150 kit includes a MASSIVE 1600 cfm air filter that is both washable and reusable.
