On the outside, they look like fairly ordinary Euro-style vans, but on the inside behind the tinted glass is a luxurious interior patterned after private jets owned by the super rich.

At around $400,000 Becker Auto Design will transform the cargo area of a Mercedes Sprinter or Ford Transit into a wealthy world of leather, exotic burl wood, electronic back massages, computer-supported features, mini-bar and big screen TVs.

Multimedia options alone include: “Custom configured, on-board media center computer capable of storing a library of music and video, (approximately 200 full length DVD’s and 5000 MP3 music titles), easily accessed via wireless keyboard (included). Windows 7 operating system or Apple Mac Mini, Intel processor and integrated 7.1 channel audio. Military spec mobile router allows high speed cellular Internet to enable a Wi-Fi hotspot for access by any WiFi device used in the vehicle. Multiple cellular carrier capability. Customized configurations available.”

Becker’s JetVan transformation, which is also available for the Cadillac Escalade, includes plenty of other options, including advanced armoring that can withstand a range of punishing rounds, including a 7.62x39mm military grade bullet shot from an AK-47.

Becker posts a ballistics chart on their website along with other information about their luxury rides.
