Switch-N-Go has developed a solution with the industry’s first detachable stainless steel dump body which is compatible with the company’s popular Easy-Slide subframe.

“This is the first production grade, production ready, detachable stainless steel dump body,” Switch-N-Go Sales Manager Russ Wallace explained at a presentation during The Work Truck Show this week in Indianapolis.

“This is the first time we’ve ever done anything like this before–we or anyone has done anything like this before.”

The stainless body, which has a 10-ton dump capacity, is being marketed for municipal, landscape, construction and other industries that require non-corrosive material.

“A lot of municipalities require a stainless steel dump and that’s just something that we haven’t been able to offer in the past,” Wallace said.

Municipalities in the northeast and along the coast are of particular interest, Wallace explained.

A full hydraulic system increases the body’s loading capacity from 15,000 to 18,000 pounds. The body has a 10-ton dump capacity.

Switch-N-Go also introduced a frame-welded gooseneck adapter.

“What this will allow you to do is put it into the system itself and set the body down and you’ll have access to be able to pull a gooseneck trailer,” Wallace said.

Both products are expected to be available this summer.
