To help fleets better prepared for the harsh winter months ahead, Ryder has activated its online Winter Preparedness hub which offers tips and alerts to help better manage the winter season.
“When winter storms do strike and customers are impacted, we’ll post the latest operational alerts including shop closures on the hub’s home page. And we’ll continue to add new updates throughout the winter months,” Jim Dawson, Ryder vice-president of maintenance and engineering, explains in the video below.
Ryder’s Winter Preparedness hub offers plenty of winter tip sheets. Look for titles like Winter Truck Maintenance, Winter Fleet Fueling, New Engine Technology, Winter Tire Essentials, Battling Driver Fatigue, Safe Winter Driving, Driver Emergency Kit Checklist, Winter Weather Terms and Driving in Low Visibility.
