Rumor mill: EngineLabs reports on what to expect from GM’s newest motor

Fleet managers looking at decade-old GM pickups who are thinking of trading in their worn out trucks on a new one are probably wondering if it’s best to wait for the 2014s.

Part of that decision is going to be based on what lies under the hood of the “Next Gen” GMs.

According to EngineLabs, GM’s next-generation small-block V-8—also known as the Mouse Motor—has been receiving plenty of press.

That’s because people want to know what “super sciences” to expect to see in this motor.

The mysterious and technologically-advanced Mouse Motor is expected to appear in future Chevy Corvettes, 2014 Chevy Silverados and GMC Sierra 1500s.
