A power outage left hundreds of trucks stuck Thursday at the Port of Long Beach.

Rows upon rows of tractor-trailers were at a stand-still for hours at one of the nation’s busiest ports.

“We’re trapped,” one driver told abc7.com. “Nobody in the terminal cares that we’re trapped. Very frustrating day. A wasted day.”

Southern California Edison expected to have power restored by Thursday night. Each year roughly 82 million metric tons of cargo comes through The Port of Long Beach making it the second busiest port in the U.S. Its neighbor, the Port of Los Angeles, is the country’s busiest with an average of 176 million metric tons of cargo arriving each year.
