Freightliner Trucks announced at the Great American Trucking Show Friday it has started full production on its 122 severe duty truck.

Freightliner says its 122SD – the flagship of the company’s severe duty line of vocational trucks â€“ is equipped to handle the toughest of vocational applications.

Transmission options include Allison automatic, Eaton manual and Eaton UltraShift PLUS automated with Eaton Cobra shifter, designed for a full range of vocational needs.

Additional, exterior options include heavy-duty West Coast mirrors, LED headlights, one-piece skid plate, lower radiator rock guard, and custom chrome accents.
