The all-new 2015 Ford F-150 has debuted a snow plow prep kit for each of its cab options – Regular, SuperCab and SuperCrew – equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine.
Ford says using more high-strength steel in the frame and high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy in the body helped make the new F-150 as much as 700 pounds lighter. This leads to improved capability, performance and better handling, which is important for customers who need to plow snow.
The new snow plow prep option is available as a $50 option (plow not included).
F-Series trucks offer customers the widest range of plow weights to keep driveways, highways and parking lots clear of snow.
