Chevrolet says it began shipping its all-new 2015 City Express cargo van to dealerships Thursday.

Chevrolet offers web tools onChevrolet.com that provides customization options for potential buyers of the van that carries a starting price of $22,950.

“We understand our customers are often too busy to step away from the office to visit a dealership,” says Ed Peper, U.S. vice president, GM Fleet & Commercial. “So we give them the option to build a City Express online with their specific color, trim, and even wheels, so that they are fully aware of the cost to their business before they meet with a salesperson.”

Buyers also can compare the City Express to other vehicles in the marketplace to see how it stacks up in areas like fuel economy, pricing, and safety.

The City Express will be a part of  Business Choice, an incentive program that provides qualified business owners a $350 Upfit Cash allowance.  Chevrolet also will offer customers ship-thru service, which sends the vehicle directly to an upfitter from the plant and the upfit vehicle is delivered directly to the dealer once complete. The ship-thru process makes it simple and convenient to upfit the City Express to meet the specific needs of the business.
