Goodwill truckIt’s hard to be too critical of a popular charity—unless it’s keeping you up at night.

New York City residents recently told a local TV station that trucks making daily deliveries to a Goodwill in their Astoria neighborhood kept waking them up, even on the weekends, according to pix11.com.

One resident in the Astoria neighborhood captured the clatter on video, which includes sounds of the trucks’ back-up alarms. PIX11 News contacted the CEO of Goodwill about the noisy, early morning deliveries, some of which have been taking place around 4:30 a.m.

Naturally, in a gesture of goodwill, the CEO said the noise would be coming to an end.
