Getting ready for the Super Bowl is tough.

When you’re the beer guy, it’s even tougher.

A Bud Light truck driver found out the hard way this week that San Francisco’s infamously steep-pitched roads are harder to traverse than you might think.

Physics can do funny things to big trucks that were not meant to travel these roads. As the driver turned the beer truck onto Jones Street, its long trailer bottomed-out on the apex of the road, which features a menacing 25 percent grade.

Naturally, a picture was taken of the stuck truck and posted on Twitter.

A temporary beer shortage ensued for thousands of Super Bowl fans, according to sfgate.com.

No word yet on whether the driver was following a GPS, directions on a cocktail napkin or the cheers of thousands of revelers in town for Super Bowl 50.
