A business owner in Tallahassee, Fla. has video of an arsonist setting fire to his trucks this week which shows the suspect fighting off some of the flames just before leaving the scene.

Matt Shanley, owner of Alpha Foundations on Woodlane Circle, provided police with the video which shows a man emerging from a pickup around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday and setting fire to vehicles close by. A cabover truck and van, both of which contained equipment, were a total loss and a third vehicle was damaged.

The six-minute video also shows a large fireball erupting and the suspect attempting to extinguish what appears to be an article of clothing, possibly a jacket, that had caught on fire. The man is then seen speeding out of the parking lot in a red, single cab pickup with a saddle box in the bed.

Unfortunately, the video is not clear enough to reveal the license plate. Law enforcement is still searching for the suspect.

“There’s just no one we could think of that would be that mad,” Shanley tells WCTV.

Though the vehicles and equipment are insured, it could keep some of Shanley’s employees idle for weeks.
